Honestly, the place is growing on me a bit, and as long as I don't have to fork over the bill for this slightly overrated and overpriced pie, why I'll just consume to my heart's content. After a less than pleasant dining experience last night at Round Table, Amici's has officially vaulted itself to the top of chain establishments. It's thin crust is a definite plus, but its greasier than Meadow Soprano's pubes!

Amici's is supposed to serve a legit NY pizza, they do a decent job. It is thin crust, but lacks the taste. The toppings are good, but the sauce is just ok. This particular location is great though. Right in the heart of the Marina. It is a large space and has has a few tv's. They offer a full bar and a good selection of beers.

I like Amici's, even though it's a chain. The one on Lombard is pretty big and has a bunch of TV's. Good for watching a game with friends and grabbing some beers and pizza.

This will do if it's handy, but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to get it. You can't just throw the term "NY-style" around if you can't back it up!

I would have given this place a half star but I had to round up to a full 1. This place BLOWS. They claim it's "NY Style" but don't be fooled by their deceptive marketing. It sucks. It's burnt. It's always at least $20. Save yourself and go eat a Bagel Bites or Stouffers or some frozen's better than this pathetic excuse for what they claim is pizza.

They have decent pizza. The place is large and quite comfortable. I'm not a big fan of Amici's, but the atmosphere here is decent.

They're on the right track with this thin crust NY style pizza, but rarely get it just right. When it's good, the thin layer of sauce and cheese meld together well like NY pizza should, but all too often, this pizza is burned, undercooked, or too greasy. Might be too much of a risky proposition.
