Really liked this thin crust pizza. Tried the plain cheese and the FIESTA (pepperoni, chorizo, tomatoes, onions and jalapenos). Both were excellent - the cheese featured great cheese/sauce combo that seemed to meld together. The FIESTA was a great mix of toppings and just the right amount of heat from the jalapenos. Would get the same two next time again.

Cool new little spot in the Dogpatch neighborhood in SF. Took it to go to the nearby bar Third Rail. Had the margherita and sausage with red onion and roasted peppers. Both were excellent - thin crust and not too greasy. Perfect amount of sauce and cheese. This place ruled, can't wait to try it again.

This slice shop intrigued me when I saw their website describes it as "The first ever San Francisco style pizza". It is sort of unique - baking sheet style pizza, but not quite as thick as your typical sheet/focaccia style pizza. I got two (rectangularly shaped) cheese slices. They were pretty average, I did like that while the top was pretty greasy, the bottom of the crust was dry. Sauce had a decent flavor. Nothing great here, but good enough if you're at the Hemlock and need a post bar snack.

Love the concept at this SoCal spot. The ordering/creation process happens up at the long bar at the font. First, they create your requested style (Margherita, Bianca, Marinara or Verde). Then you continue to the toppings station, where they add whatever proteins, cheeses, and vegetables you ask for. Then they throw it in a 800 degree wood fired onion for a few minutes. Fun way to order and get exactly what you want on your own personal Neapolitan pizza. The pizza is solid, loved the crispy outside, soft inside crust. Decently priced too. Recommended for an easy, tasty meal.

This place is a mystery. Some days, the slices are amazing, the perfect NY style slice, and huge. Other times, it's bland and uninspiring. One thing I've learned - this place is much better by the slice than delivery. It's like a different pizza, the slices are much thinner and larger when purchased on the premises. Still, I've had some awesome slices here, possibly aided at least in part by multiple drinks prior in the Lower Haight.

I think I've found my new go-to slice shop in SF. This newly opened little place in the Mission is bare bones - very simple interior with just a few tables. There were several pizzas ready at the counter (maybe 10 types). I ordered a cheese slice and the Meat-O (pepperoni and sausage). Thin, NY style slices - not too much cheese, the right amount of sauce. Crust had a crispness to it, but only on the bottom. I especially loved how it is not greasy at all - the bottom of the crust was dry. The Meat-O was the best, I'd get two of these next time. Love their slogan: "Believe in pizza again." This place definitely takes their pizza seriously and is not fking around.

I would also like to give this a four star rating. Had the Maremma Maiala - San marzano tomato, fresh mozzarella, italian sausage, onion. Really thin, almost cracker crust. Loved how it wasn't greasy at all, most flavor was coming from the sausage. Overall this felt like a legit little Italian place in North Beach, complete with Italian speaking staff. Love it.

You don't have to be deaf to eat here...but it doesn't hurt! This sign language based/deaf owned and operated pizza place is pretty cool. Big wood fired oven in the middle of an otherwise nondescript place in the Mission, this place serves tasty individual Neapolitan pies. Nice crust and tangy sauce, also reasonably priced food (and wine - bottles for $24!). Give this place a shot.

Cool new place (where Frankie's was) serving NY style slices and pies. Loved how they have several pies ready at the counter. All looked fresh and carefully made. Tried a cheese and a pepperoni. Large slices and a bit greasy, but mostly dry bottom crust. Good sauce. The pepperoni was a bit too greasy for me, but that's a common mistake I make. The cheese was my favorite, and one slice is pretty filling. I like how this place is good for both stopping in for a slice or coming with a group and sitting down to a meal. Nice addition!

This place is a hidden SF gem. ONE DOLLAR pizzas with two drink orders, and not just cheese, you can choose from 6 kinds. Sat at the bar and had a margherita and a fennel sausage pizza for a total of $2 while enjoying beers. The pizza is actually good too, not some frozen stuff they throw in a microwave or some shit. You can see the guys making the pizzas by hand and putting them into a big pizza oven in the front of the restaurant. The pizza is solid, nothing crazy, but way more than I expected for the deal. Gonna go here all the time!
