We went here prior to a Giants game as is pretty close to the ballpark, but not as crowded as not mainly a bar... which is nice before a game. Now I've heard a lot about this place, but mailing it's sandwiches... which are supposed to be excellent. However, me being a pizza freak, I opted for the pizza... margherita at that. While I expected heaven on crust, I was disappointed. The crust left a lot to be desired (dry and hard) the mozzarella scarce and the sauce decent at best. We also ordered the meatballs and a caesar salad. The salad was BY FAR the best out of the 3. They do however have a great beer tap selection and from what I hear, the sando's are great. This being said, if you go to IRONSIDE try and sandwich.

I was looking for a lunch spot near my office and as I'm passing the small farmers market at 1st and Mission notice a string a restaurants tucked between a few buildings. I did a double take at Cello. The name: Cello Kebob & Pizza. Ahhhh, definitely caught my attention, but not in a good way, more humorous. But they got me, I had to try. Inside it is counter style serving, but numerous tables. There is a decent pizza selection and then a huge selection of middle eastern dishes. Of course, me being a pizza fanatic (and since I'm reviewing this place) I elected to get a couple slices of pizza. I got 1 slice of cheese and 1 combo slice. the combo slice was actually pretty good - decent crust, decent sauce and the veggies and meat were good. the cheese however left a lot to be desired. Soggy and smelled a little weird. If it wasn't for the combo slice I would have gave this place 2 stars, but I'm a nice guy and gave it 3. Go here if Portico across the street is closed.

Believe it or not, this past week was my first time ever in Seattle and I loved it! Not only is the city cool and beautiful (yes it was sunny out), but it is a fantasy land for the taste buds! Great pubs, wine bars, restaurants and last and def not least pizza! Serious Pie was recco'd to us by a client and they hit it right on the head. Great thin crust pizza. Following the amazing gourmet pizza craze. Apps are amazing, but the pizza was even better. The place is small, but long shared / communal tables - makes it fun and interactive with others around you. Great service and suggestions by the staff. On thee way out the owner and staff all are super cool and ask about your pizza, experience. Great personal touch. Highly recommend this p.lace if in Seattle

Went here with my family over the Christmas holiday and I have to say this place definitely brought on the holiday cheer. Beautiful, italian restaurant. Has a little wine bar in the front and a market that sells cheese, cured meats, breads and olives. The sights and smells in this place is wonderful and we haven't even sat down yet. The staff is very knowledgable and they have pairing suggestions for wine and pizza. The pizza is fabulous. This is not your typical pizza, it is of the gourmet trend sweeping the nation. The wood fire oven cooks the crust to perfection and the sauce is amazing. There is a wide range of choices for toppings / pies. I got the Salsiccia: tomato sauce, mozzarella and Italian sausage. The toppings were great and the cheese perfect. I would highly recommend this place to whomever is in the area

Walking around the Ferry Building in San Francisco has many advantages: incredible food, fresh produce, great wine, people watching, fun shops, gorgeous views of the SF Bay and now a great pizza stand in front! Don't get me wrong, this isn't a permanent fixture, but a traveling pizza stand (usually in front of Bay Area farmers markets). I got the classic, the margherita pizza. Cooked in a wood-fire oven. $8 for a personal pizza - not bad. The crust was superb! The sauce, amazing, the cheese was great. Highly recommend this place if you happen upon it...of course, you can also follow them on Twitter for latest updates on where they are serving up their great pies! @PizzaPolitana

While we came here to check out their beers I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try a new pizza. I opted for the margherita. The crust was great. Not too thick, not too thin. The cheese was good and fresh tomatoes. All said, was good, but not great. Would recommend for the lunch and beers. Right off the beach and in a great town. I'd come back but looking forward to trying other pizzas in the area

Ehhh what do you expect a Chilis and pizza there at that. Chewy crust bur decent cheese. Would ever recco this but hey if yours stranded....

Had a lot of fun here. Coal woos burning oven. Great think pizzas. Good sauce and crust. Lacked some flavor but it was good. One of the nicer places in Santa Rosa

Like a lot, not loved. The place is cool and a landmark. Great to sit outside with a group. The pizza is gourmet thin crust. The crust was awesome, but the toppings could have been better, good price for what you get. I would def come back with friends. Great house (Coppola) wine too!

I've heard so much hype about this place that it was hard to walk in without feeling like this better be the best pizza ever. I mean Obama was turned away as he didn't have reservations. We got there on a Sunday at doesn;t even open until 5:30...but there was still a line waiting 15 people deep. Tables are limited and reservations even more so. We got 3 pizzas: First the Salsiccia. WOW! This one was just amazing. The crust is sooo good. Perfectly cooked. The sauce was amazing and there was an oil or something on this pizza that was just incredible. It was my favorite of the 3. Next we for the Funghi pizza. This was also incredible. The mushrooms were fantasic and the sauce again and the crust were outstanding. Last was the classic...the Margherita. This one was the least impressive (although I usually use as my deciding factor on how good the pizza is). I think it was just sitting out longer than the others. Long story short - this place rules! I highly suggest coming here with a small group. Tables and space is ezxtremely limited and you will almost undoubtly be waiting...but well worth the wait.
