Papa Gino's (24 Jan)
  • Currently 5.0/5 Stars.
This may be a chain, but still epitomizes what's best about east coast pizza. Ultra thin crust, tasty sauce that melds perfectly with a thin layer of cheese. The blueprint for east coast style pizza.
South Beach Cafe (24 Jan)
  • Currently 5.0/5 Stars.
This place makes awesome authentic Italian personal pizzas. Try the Bruchetta - insanely good. The real deal.
  • Currently 3.0/5 Stars.
This place must survive on reputation alone. Never had an above average pizza from here, then again, never hated it. Do you know anyone who actually swears by this place? Too many options to settle for this.
Cable Car Pizza (24 Jan)
  • Currently 2.0/5 Stars.
Well, they've done it - they've perfected the standard CA pizza! Too doughy. Too much cheese. Only good if drunk or starving. Good thing for them they're in the heart of the Mission.
Fly (24 Jan)
  • Currently 4.0/5 Stars.
Surprisingly good bar pizza - very solid. Try to hit it up during happy hour, pizzas are half price.
Mr. Pizza Man (24 Jan)
  • Currently 3.0/5 Stars.
24 hour delivery! 24 hour delivery! PS - the only time you should ever order from here is after 1AM. Just don't do it. Unless it's after 1AM.
Go Getters Pizza (24 Jan)
  • Currently 2.0/5 Stars.
Pretty bad. Unless you're drunk or starving and within a quick walk, leave it alone. See standard SF pizza (too doughy and cheesy).
Pasquale's Pizza (24 Jan)
  • Currently 4.0/5 Stars.
Solid, above average pizza. Delivery might take over an hour, but they have a huge menu so everyone gets what they want. Definitely a solid bet, can't go wrong here.
  • Currently 3.0/5 Stars.
Apparently the deep dish variety is good here - I can only speak for the thin crust, which was as good as what you might find in the convenience store next door. The thin crust is a joke - don't believe the hype.
Nizario's Pizza (24 Jan)
  • Currently 3.0/5 Stars.
A slightly above average SF pizza place. This place does have decent sauce and cornmeal crust, which gives it individuality, but still too doughy. Bottom line, I'd get it again, if convenient.
