Wow! I was blown away as I heard this place is good, but better than expected. The margherita was cooked to perfection. Fresh ingredients and amazing sauce. The crust was almost great. Small inside and not a ton of seats inside, but there is great outdoor seating. Looking forward to going back and trying other pies.
Cucina SA (19 Jul)

Seeing as we moved here recently, we've been trying all the restaurants and this one is a stand out restaurant for all their food. This is the same owners as Jason / Fillmore in SF, so you know it's gotta be good! We got the margheria pizza and really liked it. A little small, but great fresh ingredients and the sauce was very good. Great salads as well. Looking forward to going back and trying new pizza's.

Hard to believe it took me this long to check this pizza institution out as I've heard so much about it over the years. But I finally ventured in and loved it. I ordered the classic margherita pizza (but added anchovies). It was great! The sauce and mozz were perfect. My only complaint was I found the crust to be a little too crispy / over cooked. Other than that, it was an amazing pie. Cool atmosphere, good tap selection and people around me seemed to be ordering the pasta time we check this place out, pasta will also be ordered...but I will be getting another pie here soon!

Ehhh, I tried this frozen pizza yesterday cause wanted to try something new and different. It's different alright...and not in a good way. Crust cooked well as did the cheese. But there really wasn't much flavor. I'll stick to CPK or other well known brands going forward
Stone and Embers (29 Feb)

Heading north to Mendocino with the parents and we stopped off here as we were hungry. Did not know what to expect as kind of in the middle of nowhere - right off the highway between farm land and vineyards. Ordered the margherita pizza. WOW! It was amazing! Crust perfectly cooked, the sauce was absolutely amazing and the mozz cheese was great. A perfect lunch - not too large of a pizza, but not too small. Good for 1 person (1 pie per person). I highly suggest stopping here if in the area...I know we will be back!

I have to say, I was highly disappointed by the quality of these slices. I LOVE Tony's Pizzeria and his other spin off's (at different locations). And I have also been to other Tony's Slice Houses. This one left a lot to be desired though. The crust was soggy and the cheese was chewy. The only reason I didn't give this less than 3 stars is because I know his other places are amazing. Need to step up the game...even if this one is in a casino.
Mythic Pizza ( 6 Jan)

If you are in the mood for a quick, cheap slice...this is an option...not a great option...but an option. Decent at best...but again, cheap and fast. Got 1 slice of cheese and 1 slice of pepperoni. The cheese was good, not great and sauce the same. The crust was a little doughy.
Piccolo Forno (18 Dec)

If I could only write one word to describe this pizza it would be: FRESH! This place is brand new and owned by an Italian couple. They are super nice and engage in conversations with the patrons to see how they liked the food and they take great pride in their food. All the crust and ingredients are super fresh, organic and made to order. Got a pepperoni and a cheese slice. The pepperoni was good, nit amazing...but the cheese slice was perfect! The crust - cooked to perfection...sooooo good. And the cheese was fabulous. They also make fresh pasta...I'm really looking forward to going back and trying more of their food.
Pizza Rock ( 3 Dec)

From the man, the myth, the Legend - Tony Gemignani (Tony's Pizzeria in North Beach). This is his Sacramento pizza shop. We knew this was going to be good as Tony's is our favorite pizza place in the US. The Sacramento branch is HUGE! Looks like an old theatre - tall ceiling, there is a stage for bands...full bar. The great thing about Pizza Rock is the menu. If you go to any of Tony's other restaurants, the menu is limited and seems to be special for that location. Pizza Rock however seems to have all the menu's combined into you can get any pizza, pasta, salad, calzone, sandwich and/or burger they have form any of their other places. The pizza, as expected, was perfect! Perfect crust and fresh ingredients. Great tap selection as well. Pizza Rock is a must if you are in the SacTown area. Pizza on!
Base Camp Pizza (30 Nov)

After doing extensive research on the best pizza in S Lake...this rose to the top from what others have said. So we had to try. Upon arriving the first day (at 2:30pm mind you), we were told there was a 2 and a half hour wait to get 2 seats!!!! So we wondered elsewhere...but came back the next day 15 minutes after it opened (opens at 11:30am) and there was still a 25 minute wait! We however, got lucky as 2 people were just leaving the we got a seat and settled in for what we heard was the most amazing pizza in Tahoe. We got the 4 cheese pizza and the Big Mountain Pizza (basically an everything pizza). The pizza's were a great size...but we were under-whelmed. The crust was good, but not great. A little cardboardy...(tasted like the Totino's Frozen Pizza crust - the math). The toppings on the Big Mountain pizza were really good. But over all, only gave a 3 as thought was decent...especially after all the hype. We will have to try another time to see if still not up to par....maybe they had an off day?
